Preparation of Jerusalem (BD31)

               'Book of Daniel'

Dan 9:24a, 26 "Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression... And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined."
God claimed Jerusalem to be His holy city. From King Cyrus' command, it will take God 70x7 years to transform Jerusalem into His holy city, where He will rule the whole world in righteousness and holiness. At the crucifixion of the Messiah, only 69x7 years had passed, thus leaving the final seven years to complete His work of making Jerusalem His holy city.
As soon as the Jews crucified the Messiah, the veil of the temple was torn into two signifying the departure of God thereby ending Judaism. As a result, God immediately stopped working with the Israelites and Jerusalem. God did not immediately destroy the temple of God nor Jerusalem because He knew that devout Jews from far away countries would come back to celebrate the feasts of the Lord in Jerusalem.
At the feast of Pentecost, 3,000 devout Jews were baptized and added to the body of Christ. Also in Act 18:29-21, Paul rushed back to Jerusalem for the feast so that he could reach out to more devout Jews for their salvation in Christ Jesus.

Luke 21:5-6 Then, as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said, "These things which you see—the days will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down."
At about 70 AD or 40 years after the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus, God allowed General Titus to conquer and destroy both Jerusalem and the temple of God. The destruction of the temple was so complete that not one stone was on top of the other. Since then, the Jews were scattered throughout the whole world. So, the western Wailing Wall could not be part of the temple of God and why are the Jews idolising it? God drove the Jews out of Israel and Jerusalem to give the land of Israel its Sabbath.
Israel became a nation in 1948. The nation is without any temple for God since its formation. Nowadays, Jerusalem is far from becoming the holy city of God with its gay parades and abominable practices.

The Last Seven Years
Dan 9:27 "Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate."
The final week of the 70 weeks can only be in the last days when all Israel will accept our Lord Jesus as their Messiah. The final seven years will begin with the seven year treaty for all descendant of Jacob to migrate back to Israel to rebuild the temple of God and Jerusalem. The great earthquakes and tsunamis which will end World War 3 will kill hundreds of millions of people and will completely destroy Jerusalem.
Luke 21:24 "And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled."

Priesthood to rebuild Temple
To deceive the Jews, the Antichrist will not allow anyone to migrate back to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple except for the Jews. The Jewish priesthood will be given all the powers to rebuild the temple of God and Jerusalem, and also to rule Jerusalem.
